Kerri is a licensed attorney in the State of Washington and is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law.
Prior to law school, Kerri graduated with her B.A. from the University of Arizona and was a social worker for the State of Arizona. She was the guardian of 30 teenagers in the foster care system. In that role, Kerri frequently appeared in juvenile court on both delinquency and dependency matters. She also volunteered in the legal department of Fresh Start Women’s Resource Center where she helped low income women obtain legal advice and fill out legal forms.
During law school, Kerri was an editor of the Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation, a fellow in the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Program, a fellow for the Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics, a reference assistant at the Jason D. After law school, Kerri became a member of the Washington State Bar Association and had the immense honor to complete a two-year judicial clerkship for the District Court in Idaho. Kerri participated in over a dozen court and jury trials and wrote countless judicial opinions.
Upon completion of her clerkship, Kerri relocated to Seattle and founded the Law Office of Puget Sound, PLLC. She is a member of Washington Women Lawyers, Washington State Association for Justice, Washington Employment Lawyers Association, Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the King County Bar Association.
